Today while I was volunteering at Foodbank Victoria in Altona, we had a special visitor, Western Bulldogs player Sam Darcy!
Sam helped pack a couple of hampers and joined us for a group photo. It was great to see an AFL player getting involved and helping support the important work Foodbank does in our community.
I was also wearing my AFLW North Melbourne Pride scarf for the occasion. 🏳️🌈

This week, Coles is donating 1,000 meals for every goal scored during the AFL and AFLW rounds. Yesterday’s Western Bulldogs vs North Melbourne match generated an incredible 26,000 meals for Foodbank! 💙❤️
Food insecurity is something that affects far too many people, and Foodbank does wonderful work helping make sure Australians have access to food.
If you’d like to support Foodbank this winter, you can donate through their website, or you can use Victoria’s Container Deposit Scheme. Every five eligible containers returned provides the equivalent of one meal for someone in need.
